No longer following you, it is never funny to make fun of someone's worship to God. It may hurt your ears, but it is his offering to the Lord, not you. It is sad to me that Christian leaders think it is ok to make fun of people.

  Sorry to hear that. I think there's something far worse than being able to laugh at ourselves, and that's being so sensitive and disillusioned that we can't ever be honest with eachother. I think its far more cruel that all the folks surrounding this guy never said the truth and helped refocus him.Probably a good idea to stop following though.
