Thanks Deb, I'm glad the song provided an avenue for God to minister in some way. Actually when I started writing the post I had no intention of sharing the back story, but it just kinda came out. Just realized that both of my songs that are in regular rotation primarily focus on Holy Spirit empowered living-> "How I Live" and "Live or No Longer Live", either I should move onto another subject or I'm extremely stubborn and God is trying to get something through my thick skull

That bro for the encouragement. I'm glad it was easy to pick up, that was my major concern about the song, was singability. I'm not the best with that, shoot this song is hard for me to sing and I wrote it.

Kyle, I hadn't realized that you wrote this song until I read this…..incredible! I loved the song when we sang it….it really touched me that day. But now that I read the story behind it, it just seems to make it so much more real. Thanks for sharing the song and the story behind it. I have to echo Christy in my appreciation for your leadership and creativity!

Kyle, I love this song. I more than appreciate the rugged truth that you put into amazing melody. Even just using the name "Adonai" was so powerful to me. I am so thankful to be under your leadership. I am constantly being challenged in worship and I love it. I love how it's almost impossible to just mindlessly sing empty words at LCC. Your faithfulness and humility and obedience is amazing. I am so proud to be your sister. Thank you for sharing this incredible song with us!

Dude that song was off the charts. I thought the hook was easy to catch, I found myself singing it after 1 or 2 times through. The words hit me hard. I love thruth that it is only Christ that can teach me to live and empower me to live. I loved the song and thank you for bringing it to LCC.
