What music gear would you buy with $1000 ?

Pretend I gave you $1,000 but you had to spend it on music gear. What would you get?

I’d get the new Abelton Suite and have a few hundred left over to buy a decent condenser mic, like a Shure KSM27 or Rode NT-1. What’s next on your list of music goodies?

that's a easy one. (i have a long list of musical equipment just waiting for the funds)
    Apogee Duet ~ $495 ~ http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Duet/
    Cascade elroy w/pop $350 http://www.cascademicrophones.com/cascade_ELROY.h…
and the rest would go for a stand, hard case, and strap for the acoustic guitar i just bought.

Something from Moog that I would end up using just once. Then, I'd spend the rest of the year impressing other musicians that I own something from Moog.

Finish a modified small acoustic drum/ edrum/ perc kit with hand cymbals, cajon, LP Matador congas, more sticks, chimes. I run it through AB Live as is, but the possibilities go on and on… HEY! quit making me lust for more… :-)

I'd get linux (free), hydrogen drum machine (free), rose garden sequencer (free), Qsynth Soft Synth (free), ardour multi-track recorder (free) and have $1,000 left for new hardware — oh wait! I already have all that (except the $1,000 ;)
