(easy for me to say, huh?) Just this -- Is it about us? 'Course not! So don' worry too much. You did the best with what you had under the circumstances. God will fill the gap (just like He always does). This gap was just a little bigger. Not a problem for Him. My tendency is to get hung up on these moments when I don't do just what I planned. As if God needs my stuff to go perfectly in order for Him to arrive or move or speak to people's hearts. I think maybe God gives me the bumps in the road so I can see that He keeps right on working with or without me. I need to remember that more. God is perfect. I am not. Screw ups are going to happen. I prepare the best I can and then try my best to shake off the less-than-stellar moments. God is in control. Maybe someone there needed to see a church that wasn't perfect. Not to worry! (easy for me to say, huh?)
