I'm doing something similar, trying to get my rating system in line with smart playlists both for listening and syncing to mobile device purposes.1 star = removed2 star = archived3 star = stays in iTunes but doesn't get synced to mobile devices4/5 star = synced to mobile devices Shawn Mullins!!! I've been listening through every song, in albetical order, by album. Any songs that don't have a full album to go with them, I either complete the album or chuck the song. If I skip more than half the tracks on any album, I delete the whole thing. I've droppded from 42gb of music to just shy of 34gb (and I'm only in the S's). But now, I only have songs that I'll actually care to listen to.
