Loop available: “True Love” by Phil Wickham

True Love by Phil Wickham is truly an amazing song and it’s always been on my short list for songs to loop, but it shot to the top of the list when Easter planning started. Too bad I started planning late because this loop took me forever. It was quite challenging for me to arrange mostly due to the fact that there’s going to be some art and drama elements done while playing it, so I had to create some space for that. I hope this loop is useful for others considering the changes I made. Here’s what you’ll find arrangement wise.
- Intro: Long 2 minute intro.
- Verse 1: Starts at 2:12 (bar 55)
- Chorus 1: Starts at 2:41(bar 67)
- Verse 2: Starts at 3:30 (bar 87)
- Chorus 2: Starts at 4:00 (bar 99)
- Bridge: Starts at 4:48 (bar 119)
- Chorus 3: Starts at 5:08 (bar 127) – I sing the second half of the chorus twice “When blood and water…”
- Ending: You’ll notice the final chord is not faded, I plan to wash out the chord and cut the ending tight.
I’ve received some requests already to use the loop so let me outline what customizations I can get done before Sunday. YES: key changes, fading ending, muting instruments. Possibly: shortening intro, depending on where you want it cut and what instrumentation you want to keep. If it’s as simple as cut out 1:15-2:00 then that’s easy. But if you want to move around the instrumentation in the intro I can’t do that this week.
Don’t forget to rate the loop below and please comment with any question, requests or feedback(positive or constructively negative) you may have.
UPDATE:
I’ve now included links below for a shorter, more everyday, version of the loop. The intro has been condensed. I also included a vocal cue track for that same loop and will do so for loops going forward.

“The suspense is terrible… I hope it’ll last”
Cool stuff man! I am one of the worship leaders on staff at Cornerstone and we love makin/runnin loops…Ableton is incredibly stable as well…i actually just figured out how to replace the default click in Ableton with a sampled rimshot like the DB-90 so its even more useful! Keep it up!
Hey Ryan, I actually just got done watching your video on the strat acoustic. Pretty classic. Thanks for the encouragement bro. I love seeing what you guys are doing at Cornerstone as well. God bless bro.

is there anyway this can be transposed to D?
Yes, you can transpose the mp3 for free here: http://www.transposr.com/ , but if you want the aif transposed then I can transpose it in Reason. Or if you have Reason you can download the reason file and transpose it to whatever you want yourself. I have a post on here showing how to do that, http://www.ourrisingsound.com/2009/03/04/how-to-t...
Let me know what works for ya.
