I just started going through all the performances at the Grammys on my dvr and I was absolutely blown away by Radiohead’s performance. They played 15 Step off their In Rainbows album (which is phenomenal) with a full marching band. Just watch and be amazed.

Further evidence that Jonny Greenwood is one of the best guitarists of my generation, even if nobody could name or spot if he was standing behind them at the Gap. Brilliant performance.
Jay: No argument from me. So many guitarists are obsessed with technique but Johnny to me is so inspiring with the parts, melodies, textures, riffs he creates. I love how he writes, he’s incredible. Certainly not from the same cookie cutter lead guitarist mold.
agreed the performance ripped. monday morning it was the first record i queued up as i sat down to work. thanks for the clip.
Quite impressive, indeed. I’m an old band geek, myself, and was just enthralled. I found a copy on YouTube that’s slightly better quality, but 4:3.

As an aside, and I’m sure no one cares, I’m lucky enough to have picked up a Tele Plus like Jonny’s at a pawn for peanuts several years ago. Sweet axe.
Matthew: I do care about your purchase. In fact I care so much I’m willing to offer you cashews for your guitar. I mean talk about an upgrade, you start with peanuts (the gutter trash of the nut family), trade it to some sucker for a guitar, then you end up with a bag of cashews for said guitar. Let’s make this happen.
