This is a good thing. I like it.

I tried to use it for my situation but, I couldn't get it to work. My situation may be one that it can't done for. Here it is ...

I've imported an mp3 from itunes into Garage band. I want to record my vdrums (electronic drums) on a separate track as I play along with the imported mp3 song. That part is easily done. The problem is that when the mp3 song starts with drums only, or the entire band starts all together, it's difficult to know when I should start playing.

The tempo of the imported mp3 does not seem to be affected when I change the tempo on garage band, which is good. I've tried to discover the tempo using an app called bpmtapper but it never seems to be *just right*.

Is there a way to accomplish this?
