Loop available: “Our God Reigns – Delirious” (Updated)
Tagged Under : Ableton, Delirious, free loops, live, loops, music, Reason, worship
I originally posted this loop back in July and have had some ask more details about the arrangement. So I’m reposting with some more details and releasing it on the podcast. The first time I heard Our God Reigns by Delirious I was incredibly moved. It’s just such a powerful melody.
I started experimenting with some string arrangements and stumbled on an arrangement I really liked. I knew I wanted to introduce the song slowly so I started out with an electronic pattern sequence, then built some drums on it, then brought in the strings. Slowly layering as the song progressed. I do a break down at 2:25 that has some violin plucking and a voice pad, then bring back all the instruments for the finish.
If you would like to know the gruesome details as to how I arranged live instruments on this then leave a comment and I’ll get back to you. Enjoy.

Kyle this is awesome stuff!! Would you consider making the clicks available to other churches??
You should contact the guys at http://www.praisecharts.com to see if they could use some help from you.
Thanks Chris I really appreciate that. Yeah I think I’m just going to start posting these songs on the site (along with bpm for click) as I do them and whoever wants to download them is more than welcome to.
I’ll definitely checkout that site, I’ve never been there before so thanks for the heads up.
Hi
what about saving your loops in std midi file I use reason 3 or cakewalk and cannot open your awesome loops
Here’s a loop I put together for when we did this song several months ago. Loop sync with video. I have another version with the click track with it.

Hey, do you always use loop tracks, or just some of the time? I make tracks, too, so I'd be really interested in knowing how you use them live — from a computer or an MP3? I also use reason, and would love to know of any good sounds you use. Let's connect!
My sets are typically 5 songs and I usually use loops on 3 or 4 of those songs. That's about the average as of now anyway. I use Ableton Live from my Macbook Pro to run the loops and click. I post the Reason files for each loop so you can download and see exactly what sounds I'm using. Hit me up on email anytime man. Thanks for the comment.
