My husband committed suicide in 2006. I want to completely agree with you when it comes to the salvation question of those who commit suicide. Yes, its a sin. God has a plan for the whole of our life. Yet, I know sin is covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. I dont think it was God's perfect plan but the event seems to say it was His permissive will. What did Samson do? Did he not push down a building on top of himself. Do I think God wants us to commit suicide? No way! Aaaaa... but I can not get around His Mercy and Grace. I'll never forget the suicide-funeral of one of my bass players years ago. The Pastor alluded to the reality that, whether by what we eat, how we treat our bodies, the stress and drive we have in working for materialism, etc., we are all "killing ourselves" to some degree ... some just do it with more intention and quicker.
