I read this in full blown tears. I could feel your pain, anxiety, and your heartbreak. God is so awesome. Sometimes we forget that He is so faithful and that He is in control of everything. This proves right here that He is. Just so amazing, I don't know what else to say but that I believe Ethan will do great things for our Lord!

Thank you all so much for your incredible comments. We could not have made it through this time without the overwhelming prayers and support of our friends, family, and the countless other prayer warriors around the world that were enlisted in our time of need. The care and understanding we received from the body was humbling. God in our worst time was seen not only in our sons healing but in the extension of his body, reaching, to bring us comfort and love. I am so thankful for our connection to the body of Christ… for our connection to people who hear His voice and act on His word.

This story made me cry, almost uncontrollably at one point. Praise the Lord! But it also brought a smile to my face.

Your faith and obedience during your crises is admirable. It seems that God honored that. We should all be like that…so free to call upon the Lord, at even the slightest need.

Oh our sweet Ethan. I love that little boy so much. I was there that night and sat on the bench with Ethan as the firemen and police officers surrounded him and to this day thought I knew every detail of that moment. But reading about it from your perspective Christy put such an amazing light on that terrible night. I knew that you were praying but I didn’t know what you were praying. Your prayers were unbelievable. I am so blessed that you posted this and that Kyle is doing this series. I know it’s going to have an enormous impact on so many lives, it has impacted my life all over again but for completely different reasons this time. God is so amazing!

I knew of the sketched story about Ethan being hit, but I never knew the intense details that God pulled him through. It is good to tell of HIS GOOD NEWS. I am so blessed as tears stream down my face in joy for the faith, strength and courage God has built in you and your family through this. Thank you for taking the time to go through the horrific memories to share and uplift our GREAT HEAVENLY FATHER. Praise HIM!

Wow. I remember hearing about this, we were not going to Life Connection anymore at the time, but someone called me and told me what had happened. Ryan and I prayed hard that night for little Ethan. I never knew the whole story, nor did I want to ask. This is an amazing testimony and God is our healer. Thank you Jesus!

What a mighty God we serve…
I’ll never forget the sound of Kyle’s voice when he called me that night. But I treasure the sound of Ethan’s voice and know deep in my heart that God’s purposes for his life are great and beyond my imagination. I think a video of Beefy being “superhero” might show his warrior spirit better than that handsome photo…

Amazing! I love Jesus more after reading this story. We truly serve an amazing God. To watch you guys go through this was very encouraging. To read it is a fresh reminder of God’s grace through JESUS and the healing He purchased for us.
