Loop available: “My Soul Sings” by Delirious
Tagged Under : Ableton, audio, Delirious, free loops, loops, My Soul Sings, Reason
My favorite song of the latest Delirious album by far. This song has gone over great in worship in the past and I was anxious to get it back in the rotation. The loop is pretty sparse on the verses, just a short voice pad and a few bell tones, the pre-chorus and chorus have piano, strings, and a repeated bell melody. The outro on the album goes crazy, I went less crazy but there are still quite a few things going on by that point. As usual, if you find this useful or helpful please comment back and let me know how you used it, or what changes you made or if you have any questions on the exact arrangement.

Thanks so much for sharing. We aren’t doing this one yet, but if we do, you will have saved me bunches of time (since I’m new to creating loops and don’t throw them together very quickly).
Troy, glad you can find it useful. Let me know if you have any questions on arrangement.
We’ve done this song several times. I’m wondering how you stay in time with the track since it doesn’t have a click.
Tyler, I use Ableton Live to play the loops and the click is controlled with Ableton, not recorded onto the loop itself. This allows me to use stereo loops, which this one does have some panning on the voice pads. Ableton has a lot of tempo control features with warping so I let Ableton handle that stuff.
Hey, I was wondering, how do you add clicks in ableton live?
