Hello! I am trying to get a set up similar as yours. I have Guitar Rig 3 and the Behringer Midi controller , but I can't seem to get the right sound. Do you have any tips or maybe presets that you can share. At our church we play Hillsong, David Crowder Band, Chris Tomlin etc. My email is gaytanobed@gmail.com

Thanks,

I'm not sure of the exact brand of the stands, I'll take a closer look tis weekend though. We bought them at Guitar Center and I don't see them on the website right now, they do have some other laptop stands though:

I suppose the computer crashing in the middle of a set is a possibility. If I were using a PC instead of a mac I might be more worried about that. I've never had that happen so I guess I'm not all that worried about it. Guitar Rig is a really well made app and OSX is a great operating system. That said I don't really have any backup measure that I could take if it crashed live other than just switch over to my acoustic or the piano.

I've heard some great things about Guitar Rig.

Do you worry about using the computer for your live sound? Do you have a back up?
