I am a Christian and native Arabic speaker. i watched those videos and the English speaker in the film did not accurately translate what the people were saying, as we would say in Arabic, baHar, he embellished people's words in certain parts. Sad, because these embelishments only hurt the plight of these Christians. This is dishonest of the translator.

Best thing to do is to get to know people and not just depend on media to inform you.

Hi Kyle – thank you soooo much for posting this. I actually worked with Fr. Samaan in the Zebeleen slum back in the 1980′s. He is a dear and devoted brother in the Lord. I had not been aware this video existed but it made me so happy to see it.
I was just there last spring and try to visit once a year. Have you ever been there? Love to take you with me if you’d like.

I’m going to check out your site and I hope we can began some correspondance and perhaps work together to alleviate the suffering. Keep pressing on.
